Displaying books by Tag?

This is driving me 'round the bend.

Last time I checked, a few weeks back, selecting a Tag under the Tag category would display all of the books in that category, and ONLY the books in that category, which you could then sort by author, title, series, whatever.

Tonight, though, this no longer happens. Selecting a tag merely highlights every title in that category, so I've got to scroll through the list searching for them.

Was this a change with a recent update? And if so, how do I change it back?

This is not a new feature. If you are not on a recent version of calibre then toggle the 3rd icon to the right of the search bar. If you are on a newer version then follow eschwartz's advice.

Thank you both -- I've got things where I want them again. No idea what tripped the toggle; maybe installing that "Find Duplicate Titles" plug-in.

It was more likely the change in 1.11, some other users had the same problem

If you always want to restrict the search result to matches - set the button to three blue bars and red slash, then flip the switch in search to off.

The find duplicates does do this
