Device: Alcatel 5035D OneTouch
Connection to Alcatel 5035D OneTouch (Android 4.1) fails

For some reason Calibre does recognize my Alcatel 5035D phone but cannot show the books which are available on my device.

Whenever I connect my device it shows up immediately in Calibre. Both the internal storage facility and the SD card. In the left lower corner of Calibre the name of my device is shown, and in the right lower corner it show that 1 task is running.

After a while I receive a message that communication with the device failed. The message contains the following information:

calibre, version 1.13.0
FOUT: Fout: Fout bij communicatie met apparaat

Failed to upload file named: driveinfo.calibre to (u'Telefoonopslag',): 2:PTP Layer error 2019: send_file_object_info(): Could not send object info.

Due to this situation I am not able to transfer books to my device.

Is there anybody out there who can help me transfering books to my device?

Thank you in advance,

Try rebooting both your computer and your device. If that does not work, use one of the wireless transfer methods described int he calibre FAQ.
