How to add leading zeros to the front of a series
I have looked and tried to figure out the language and just can't figure out everywhere to put "{series_index:0>3s}" to get what I want.
In save to device I put: {series_index:0>3s} to get leading zeros. That works perfectly - I get xxx 01.00 on my Kindle. Now, I want the leading zeros to also show up in my series on the series tab, such that I see xxxx [01] instead of xxx[1] when I enter the leading 0. I can't figure out where to put it in Preferences to make this happen. Any help would be most appreciated. |

What is the "series tab"? If you mean something in calibre itself such as the tag browser or the book spreadsheet, then you can't make it show leading zeros without changing calibre's programming. If you mean something on your kindle, then you need to determine where it gets the series information to see if calibre can format it.

If I can't get it to show on the Calibre column, I'll just have to continue as I have been, but it does seem a lot of trouble when I would like to just look at the column and know - especially older books that have been added to Calibre a really long time ago. Appreciate your reply. |
