Kobo Mini w/sleep cover $49.95 + shipping at QVC

If you're in the market for a Kobo Mini, esp. if you wanted the Kobo Mini Soft Touch Cover, this is a good deal.

QVC has the Kobo Mini (in black or white) with Kobo Mini Soft touch Cover on clearance for $49.95 + $6.97 shipping. With tax, for me it came to $60.34 total

(Yes, I bought yet another reader, sue me! )

The Mini plus soft cover is currently $78.99 shipped at Kobo, so if you wanted a Mini (only in White at Kobo) and the Soft Touch Cover, this is a very good deal.

EDIT: Sorry, here's the link: http://www.qvc.com/Kobo-Mini-5-E-Ink...c=E223467-CSWB

Rumor has it the model is being phased out:

But I don't care, and just bought one for myself!

It's high time I upgraded from the Kindle 2. The Kobo Mini is HALF the size of that monstrosity.

Mine ended up being $61.97, shipping to NYC.

Yeah, I read the same blog post, which is how i found out the QVC sale. I'm hoping they will produce another 5" or smaller device, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

The Kobo Mini arrived last night! It's awesome, such an upgrade over the Kindle 2. I got the black model with a red shell case.

I popped it open and it's got a 4gb micro SD card in it. I haven't tried expanding the partition yet, but it's a nice little bonus.

The rubbery case it came with has a similar tactile feel as the Mini, and does not add much additional bulk. With the case on, it still fits in either my front or back pants pockets.

This deal still appears to be active, so I will be purchasing more as xmas gifts

I just got mine last night. Very impressed so far. I, too, opened mine up to find a 4gb microSD in it, so i'm going to expand the partition on it as well!

Kobo US and Powell's books are both sold out of the Mini. QVC might be one of the last places to get it.
