I've made a mess. Conflicted copies of the metatdata.db file
So, I have my library stored on Dropbox, and normally I am very careful about making sure that I only have one copy running across all my machines. However, last week I went and screwed it all up. I now have multiple copies of the metadata file. The file list in Dropbox now looks like this:

Pick one then use the check library feature in calibre to try to recover. It will detect most problems in synchronization between metadata,db and the actual files in your library.
