Does the Kindle app work in OS X Mavericks?

I use the Kindle app all the time in Lion. Does it still work in Mavericks?

To import Kindle eBooks into Calibre you need a way to put them on your Mac, and the Kindle app is the only way to do it. I agree, the Apple forum is as good a place for this question as the Calibre forum but I was looking on the Calibre forum to see if anyone was testing to see if the gateway apps like ADE and Kindle work.

Had you asked the real question that you wanted an answer to then it would not have been moved. If you want the right answer it is important to ask the right question.
