Exporting/pushing books to my device?
Hi all,
I've just downloaded Calibre, and my dashboard doesn't look like the overview video or the setup guide screenshots. Basically, there's no Devices tab. I can't figure out how to push books in EPUB or MOBI file format to the Kindle app on my iPad or iPhone. The devices appear in my Windows Explorer window under Computer, so they *are* being recognised by the system. I tried emailing them to specific device email addresses (xxxxx@kindle.com)(I also validated the sending email address), and I've tried enabling the WiFi option in Calibre - nothing ever turns up in my Kindle library in the device. Does anyone have any ideas about this? Forgetting Calibre for a moment, if I was to email an EPUB or MOBI file direct to my device, do I need to have a subject line, or just a blank email with the attachment? Is it meant to just then appear in my Kindle Library? Many thanks, -- Pierre |
