Managing Kindle library online- how to clean out a bunch of old docs?

I've been using Calibre to download a couple of newspapers each day and email them to my Kindle. It works great, but I just realized that the documents are piling up in my online Kindle library. I know I can delete the files individually, but that's kind of tedious, since I now have several hundred old documents stored there.

Does anyone know an easy way to delete a bunch of files from the Kindle library quickly?

One at a time is the only way.

I'm not sure if newspapers/documents are treated the same way as ebooks & mp3s in the Amazon media library? You can select multiple items from that page, move them to the trash, and then delete them from the trash. However it doesn't work for ebooks, as it won't let you delete them from the trash in case you want to re-download them from Amazon, but it might let you do it with documents.

You can try it yourself at:

I agree that the online library management is utterly dire. You could send them some feedback - I have done that in the past which had absolutely no effect whatsoever but maybe, just maybe, if enough people ask, then they might eventually allow to select and perform actions on multiple items

If you choose to do that the address for Kindle feedback is kindle-feedback@amazon.com or kindle-feedback@amazon.co.uk

Perhaps you want to try:

For me, it works fine.

I had the same issue - a whole bunch of personal documents and periodicals. I found a handy bookmarklet for deleting multiple items - it's still a bit fiddly, but speeds up the process: http://overanalyze.net/links/2012/06...y-bulk-delete/
