Latest CD purchase, volume 2

Alright I figured it was time for a new one of these. The old one reached 1000 posts which, while not STAGGERINGLY HUGE, is a good even metric number and as good a time as any to close it. It's also been going since March 2005.

Anyway, never had any problem with this topic before. It provides a bit of discussion and recommendations and so forth. All straightfoward, just keep it civil and on-topic.

Go!

(Also mine was Damo Suzuki's Network: JPN ULTD Vol. 1 and when I get to broadband I'll Zoo it for anyone interested [Damo Suzuki was vocalist for Can].)

Does it have to be a CD? Can it just be "album"?

If CD only, then it was probably John Butler Trio's 'Grand National'. If the latter, then it was NIN's "Ghosts I-IV" (I purchased the $5 version).

If it was what is the next CD you're going to buy, it'll likely be Paul Simon's "The Rhythm of the Saints".

Cheers,
Marc

How about MP3 albums? The last two MP3 albums I purchased were Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings by Counting Crows, Pretty. Odd. by Panic At the Disco (they've given up the emo music.) In the same week I also purchased Coco by Colbie Caillat, 3 Bad Plus albums, and some ukele music.

I did purchase an actual physical CD last week: Funplex by the B-52s. (The CD wasn't yet available as an unencrypted MP3 album.)

A very unusual week, sometimes I go months without buying anything.

Hi – new here.

I find it comforting that it’s ok to be somewhat multifaceted here. I like more than just books, but sites seem to be ALL about movies or ALL aobout books.

Anyway, the last CD I felt curious & tempted enough to buy was Joni Mitchell’s “Shine.” Before that, Brian Wilson’s “Smile.”
