Introducing myself

Hi all,

As a student and webdeveloper I read a lot of stuff on LCD screens. Like webpages, RSS, pdf's, doc's etc's. The eInk technology is the answer to my tired eyes.

At the time I bought a PRS-505 there were only two eReaders for sale in Holland. Buying the PRS-505 from eBay was a lot cheaper than getting one in a local store. And I think that the Sony Reader is one of the best.

Ironically have I wasted more time reading about the Reader than reading on the Reader. Just because it's an interesting gadget and relatively new.

I'm a Mac-user and currently fooling around with libprs500 and automator to automate things a bit. Libprs500 is great (wrong name though), better than the official Library app from Sony.

Hi RobinZ and welcome to the Forum. I have a Sony 505 and like it a lot. But, like you, I spend a lot of time on this great Forum.
