Button-Change on the 505

I usually have my hand on the top of the 505, so it would be nice if I could page forward right from there. Perhaps there's a way to reconfigure button 1 to be a page forward? I would trade the direct-page-access-functionality for that. Can it be done?

seems to me it could be done with a firmware change.
