Question No history in my Kobo

I'm having some trouble with my Kobo Glo.
Here's the issue: the kobo doesn't maintain a history of my recently opened books.

This means that the recently read book list is not being updated either in the home menu or the library. Instead, a random list of books is displayed and never changes.
The same problems happens when I turn off and on the kobo.

This is very annoying because I'm forced to do a manual search to reach back the last book I was reading every time.

Thank you for your help

This sounds very much like a corrupted database on the Kobo.

If you use calibre, you might like to try the Check the device database contained within the Database option of Davidfor's Kobo Utilities plugin.

If that does not help, or you don't use calibre, try the signout option from the Settings | Account menu. Be aware that function will drop the database and you will need to re-do the device setup.

Thank you, I deleted the sqlite database but this has reset the kobo. At least, it's now working ... until when ? (it's not the first time it happens)
Cheers

Dropping the database is one of the functions that logging out through the menu will accomplish.
