If it were:
- larger (able to show at least 8.5" x 11" @100%) - included stylus support It'd be a huge boon for our proofreaders. |

Big FAIL IMO. The screen looks washed out like a pre-Pearl eInk screen. The refresh rate would be horribly slow and in many offices you would need to include some kind of front lighting. Perhaps if it was hooked up in a laptop configuration it would be useful for outdoors in the daytime where a normal laptop or tablet would be washed out, but then it would be useless in low light times. Nah, just a huge FAIL.

Great idea ! That is exactly what I am looking for.
They should demo it with the latest 13.3" panel from E-ink. Most people are ignorant, and of course do not know how bad back-lit screens are for their brains. |

If it would be a laptop with an e-ink screen, I would be very tempted.

I can think of two situations where this type of display may work:
A thin model with a large enough viewable area could be clipped to a laptop's or tablet's screen, for use outdoors. This sort of setup would be useful for field work. A wireless model may be good secondary monitor for extended periods of reading, as well as to refer to or transcribing information. It would be more useful than an ereader since it would display information using standard PC software. |

Any kind of drag and drop would not work - the refresh rate is too slow.
