Newly added books don't appear on Kindle Touch
HI!
I have a Kindle touch and have just added some books to my library but I can't 'see' them on my device. When I access my Kindle via calibre they're definitely on the device. i have already tried rebooting my kindle but there is no change.. If anyone can help, it'll be much appreciated.. thanks |

The general reason for newly-added books not appearing is that one book gets stuck while indexing.
Remove the books you've added, then re-add them in small batches, and allow each batch to complete indexing before adding the next. To see if you have unindexed books, go to the home screen and do a search for a nonsense string. If there are unindexed books it'll come back and say "NN items currently unindexed". |

There are several possible explanations. How did you add the books? What format were they in? Is the device registered to you? Were these books transferred via USB from a previous device you owned?
