page-break-after:avoid on iBooks
Hs anyone had any luck getting page-break-after:avoid; working on iBooks to prevent orphaning with headings?
Liz Castro makes it sound like it works(worked?) in her 2011 article - http://www.pigsgourdsandwikis.com/20...breaks-in.html But popping that into my CSS doesn't seems to work. I can see it working just fine on ADE - which is SOMETHING, I suppose. I REALLY don't want to have to go putting DIVs around my headers and the next paragraph to try to fix this because it's going to lead to the inevitable human error (and increse development costs!!) - and besides, CSS is there to do all that kind of thing for us isn't it? ![]() |

additional...
Interestingly: Just for fun, I tried putting in page-break-before:always; and that WORKS, so at least it's LISTENING. All my headers begin on a new page now.
