Fortlaufende Seitenzählung "stockt"
Ich habe das Phänomen schon bei verschiedenen Büchern bemerkt:
Bei Kepubs. Bei Epubs. Und auch bei einem selbst erstellten validen minimalistischem ePub ganz ohne eingebettetes CSS. Die Seitenzählung stockt manchmal. Aber nicht immer. Noch kenne ich keine Randbedingungen, die Einfluss darauf haben. Passiert sowas bei Euch auch? Gibt es Abhilfe? Danke. |

In an ePub the page # is defined based on the number of characters in the zipped (x)html file. See https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Page_numbers for a start

For "absolute" cojntrol in an ePub of page numbers you need a Page Map. See https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Adob...tions#Page-map

Absolute Seitenzahlen sind nicht mein Anliegen. Ich möchte nur, dass nach einem "Weiterblättern" aus der Fußzeile "Seite 288 von 315" ein "Seite 289 von 315" wird. Zuverlässig. |

Without the page map, the ePub page numbering is strictly based on the character count, and/or the presence of a new (x)html file.
Each forward press will stay on the same page number UNTIL the location in the compressed (x)html file has moved into the next 1024 character block OR a new (x)html file has been opened. |
