Question Calibre window displays scaled

Hello,

Good day, looking for a solution to a weird error.

When I start Calibre (with or without plugins), the window displays downscaled, with the mouse pointer not corresponding to the real position (offset a lot in horizontal, slightly in vertical).

Attached is a screenshot showing how the window is displayed, note where the mouse pointer is and where Calibre thinks it is (over a button on the toolbar).

The operating system is Linux Mint 14 running with Cinnamon on a 64 bit PC.

Thanks & have a nice day,
Humberto

What version are you running? Did you install calibre via the binary install method outlined on calibre's download page? If not then please try installing again using the calibre binary install.

I'm running Calibre 0.9.41, installed using the binary installer from the download page.

Currently, as a workaround I installed XFCE in addition to Cinnamon; on XFCE there are no graphic issues.

Seems like the way Cinnamon uses the underlying Compiz messes up QT loops somehow.
