Should I wait for better versions say upcoming Sony 13.3 or Other ONYX devices or go for ONYX BOOX M92(which ever is best in market??). (Affordability is not an issue as long as it is $600 or less). Please Help!!! |

You should check/review these devices:
Onyx M92, Pocketbook Pro 900 series, Hanvon Wisereader e920 Upcoming devices are Sony 13.3 and Next Gen Onyx M92. Hanvon is actually the pioneer having implemented both the touch screes - IR and Wacom (you can use stylus plus hand touch) & it has Higher Resolution screen. But very few users have it and there isn't much information online regarding this. Couple of users at mobileread have bought this. Onyx is good as firmware is mature and many tweaks have been done by the community Upcoming devices can take upto 6-8 months to finally appear. I don't know how much truth is there is Updated Onyx 9.7 inch but Sony will definitely come after some time. If any large screen android device will be there, I will be the first one to buy it. I think new Onyx runs Android which means you can install off-the-shelf handwriting apps, which is something you might want to do.

I read that the Nook Simple Touch doesn't allow you to export your notes, and I see no mention of being able to "scribble" notes, but using the keyboard instead. The Kindle uses the keyboard, and allows you to export the notes.

Sorry, that was an off topic comment by me. I just wanted to say thanks to Rizla. I was planning to get either Sony T1 or Nook ST for rooting purposes and he helped me.

I think its better to wait for 6 more months so that--
1.Devices might bring in android platform 2.Touchscreen and more responsive scribbling and page turns 3.Better Resolution 4.Bigger Screen size(13.3 completely depends on purpose) 5.Flexible unbreakable and thin screens (as expected in Sony 13.3) |
