A modest proposal for clarity, efficiency and of course world salvation:

Why not put threads that are moved, because they don't fit a category or any particular category, into a forum under Miscellaneous or in an even more prominent position. Call this forum or forum section: "Moved Threads" (a fairly explicit name) and keep them out of the busy, crowded, and constantly updated Lounge?

We don't want to slow traffic in the hectic Lounge with obstacles and speed bumps the busy folk have to detour around.

For the most part if you move a thread into the Lounge, when it did not start there, it kills the thread. (Not all the time, but most of the time.)

Of course if the thread is of a pernicious nature, it might have to be deleted or moved behind a door of a certain color where tender souls such as myself don't go. On these serious matters the Moderators are at their best.
