modified file: now takes ages to load

Hi Everyone,

I found an ebook with .lit format.
My ebook reader cant read .lit, also there was a line break every 3-4 words.
So I opened the file in Calibre, and

* converted it to epub
* unpacked the archive
* changed 30 000 's and 's to nothing
* replaced every ( every one of each was empty ) with a single 
* re-packed it
*put in my ebook reader ( pocketbook touch )

The origianal epub ( unmodified ) loaded fast as always.
The modified versions take MINUTES to load.

Why?
(filesize il almost the same )

because you got carried away

with the removal and made 1 giant paragraph.
If you do a conversion and adjust the 'line unwrap factor down a TINY bit ( about .45)

Or use Sigil and use the S&R 'join Paragraphs' saved search

What book is this and where did you find it? Most MS Reader files that are like that are poorly made from a bad source and are not generally legal.

I dont know what you are talking about, i'm pretty a newbye with ebooks. Could you explain ? ^^
Also, now the size of the text is pretty big, I can I solve that ? Modifing the CSS ?
