Content sharing with password and Kobo Glo?

Hi

Is it possible to make Kobo Glo to work with the content server when password is enable? I know it says it is incompatible with some devices but I am wondering if it is possible to pass the password in the url like it is possible with ftp servers?

The way to do it is to specify the userid and password as part of the URL. Testing with my Glo, the following worked:

Code:

http://userid:password@192.168.0.163:8080

You will of course have to use your userid, password and IP address.
