format iliad
hi i had recently subscribed to a few RSS feeds and now about 10 of them are corrupt files.
i tried to delete them using the linux rm command but it says read-only file system. i cant delete them using my windows-based PC too. someone in another forum suggested that i format the iliad. is formatting the best and only solution? can i format it from windows as i am a newbie to linux? when i right click on the iliad drive in windows i get the format option.. is that safe to use? thanks |

If you have made a backup of your (usable) files, yes it's safe.
Remember to format it to FAT32 file system. HTH Dirk ![]() |
