Books vs Personal Documents - any advantage?
I understand that I can get books to show on my Paperwhite under "Books" and not "Personal Docs" if I do a bit of work using mobi2mobi and mess about with [EBOK] vs [PDOC] and ASIN numbers, etc.

My question is, on a Paperwhite, is there ANY advantage to having something show up under Books and instead of Personal Docs?

No. The only time you will notice is using cover view, as far as I know.

If you send the book to your Kindle via Personal Documents Cloud there are several advantages. One you can sync last page read, bookmarks, notes and highlights, two it's stays in the cloud so you can download the book to other Kindles or Kindle app.

If you're just side loading the book then it's just a matter of preference.

I guess one advantage of being able to side load it as a book is you can then use the "Book Description" option on the Kindle?
