Add the cover browser is above the list of books in the main calibre window
How do I show the cover browser above the list of books in the main calibre window?
And then change it back again?

The three icons in the lower right of calibre control the viewing or hiding of the Tag Browser, Cover Browser and Book Details panes.

In addition to the good Doctors advice.
There are 2 (sets of) options in Preferences: Look and feel that allow alternate placements of:
1) the Details pane (side or bottom)
2) Cover browser (attached or detached) and options

There are also tweaks that control some of what/how info is displayed.
Use care , recovery by a forced (file) reset to override will cause all your customizations to be lost.

Thank you But this only brings up the cover browser in a separate window Want it to look the same as the picture I posted please

Now that worked
The bottom three buttons don't seem to do it
