Calibre cannot open this Kindle book

Has anyone ran into this I ran kindel DRM removal and opened in Calibre added to Calibre but can not open it. Instead it opens in Kindle? It does allow me to copy & paste but only a page at a time or 100 times to digitize the book. In Calibre I do a chapter at a time. I do believe the DRM is removed because Kindle had stopped at 17% allow me to copy and now I am at 46% of book copied. So I think since I added to Calibre clicked to open in Calibre and it opened in Kindle it's may be Calibre?????

We can not answer DRM removal issues at MR.
You might ask where you got the tool.

If you want calibre's viewer to open up a certain type of book, go to Preferences - Behavior - Use internal viewer for" and place a check next to the book type you want calibre to open in its internal viewer. See attached.

Understand that calibre's viewer is essentially an ePub viewer and will do a quick conversion of any book to epub before opening the book in its viewer.

I understand how it works I have done 46 books and Calibre has performed great until now and in Calibre to open the book it will jump to Kindle.

When you open a book in calibre what do you want to happen? What do you mean "jump to kindle?"

This has never happen before I select and double click to open the book and that opened the Kindle program & the book in Kindle, It did allow a limited amount to be copied. This morning I found the fix.

I have found that with the new up dates to Calibre, and the convert books button added EPUB format and Calibre could open the book in Calibre. I hope this will help someone else. All that was needed select the book and hit the Convert Books. I had tried Convert Books before and had got error and would do nothing but with the new updates problem solved. Now the book is in AZW3, and added EPUB format.And the Calibre works as usual!!!!!!

I just checked the formats of other books and they are all MOBI and one HTMZ and the new that I had trouble with AZW3
