epub iBook link-anchor
I have a book with a number of link-anchor references in it. In Sigil book-view and Calibre viewer the links show up as blue text that I can click on and go to the reference and then come back to the main text. When I load the same epub into iBooks the references are now normal black text. If I happen to recognize one I can select it and it works correctly. But, being normal black text I can't really recognize them. I've searched and tried a few tricks (adding the apple display file for example), but it doesn't work. My css does not have any special settings for <a, href= or id=. I don't reference any imbedded fonts so that the device can select it's own. Is there a fix for this that I just haven't found yet? Each reference has <a href="a link name" id="a back link name">THE WORDS TO HIGHLIGHT</a>.

Create a style for it in your stylesheet. Make the text red or something.
Even then it might not work, since apparently iBooks is overwriting the defaults. |
