Troubleshooting problem with calibre and kindle 4 non touch

Hi at all, i have an italian kindle 4 non touch,without special offers updated to the italian firmware 4.1.1(1813030025).
In the calibre section i found this guide:

I have been playing around with the Metadata plugboards to get the titles on a Kindle 3 to show series information. I used the following template:
format: mobi
device: kindle2
template: {series}{series_index:0>2s| - | - }{title}
destination: title
This works very nicely for books that are part of a series e.g.:

But even if i tried all the possibile thing it doesn't work.
I want ask if i am the only one with this problem,if it's a general problem of my model/firmware/other

Try set it to any format and any device, plus this will not work on mobi files that combine the new kf8 and the old.
