Children's Picture Book with page breaks for Kindle Fire

We are trying to put our children's picture book onto the Kindle, with only one page per screen. When we put it in with a PDF, it put 2 to 4 pages per screen, depending on which device we were using. The words for our book are built into the painting, so we don't have to deal with font or text issues.

They suggested we use DOC format and add page breaks, but the resolution is weak.

We have used calibre to convert - unsuccessfully in all formats.

We do not know how to do HTML....

Suggestions?

We are struggling with Kindle Publishing. We have submitted and resubmitted in an effort to get one page per screen.

Unfortunately, Kindle Publishing is not as user friendly to those of us who are not fluent in HTML.

Our book is available in two beautiful formats in the iBookstore - for iPads.

We hope that is an option for you. We have a few hard copies, although those are more expensive.

As Ravenswd links above, Kindle Comics Creator is probably the way to go here. It is easy to use without HTML knowledge, and it appears that you can add pages in PDF format as well as standard image formats (haven't tried the former yet).

All the Kindles being sold now support this format.
