I have Kindle form UK with UK localisation choosed during first launch.

Or maybe there is the way to make a "bottleneck" to not accept so fast two taps ?! Especially when it can be noticed after waitforkey in ssh:

Theoretically, it would be the best solution. But how does it work in practice?

All the functionailty is embbeded in a jar.

I did hunt around for about an hour through all the other files in there, really the project above is the only chance far as I can tell.

(aside from creating a transparent overlay jar for your localisation which is why I asked, but that requires decompilation and java skills, do you have them?)

1) Neither twobob nor myself support the users of open source software who are in violation of the open source license(s).
When Duokan posts their sources of the OSS they are using in accordance with the license requirements - then we might change our minds.
Until then, learn Chinese and ask on the Duokan site.

2) Repeat: "All functionality is embedded in a jar file."
Change that if you want to change the timing.
OR
Change the kernel so it is slower to pass on events.

You can shop around and find a K4 Demo unit for under $35.
That plus KUBRICK will give you a K4 with all buttons working.

A software solution to your problem does not already exist, other than the "almost solutions" suggested.
So buy a Demo, un-Demo it and e-bay your broken one for the parts (your screen is still good, you might even profit on the deal).
