Yet another karma question

...sorry, but I've had a good read of the excellent karma threads but I don't know how to find out how much karma someone gives you. Someone has been very generous to me but I'm not sure who it is - though one person I asked said he had given me 2 , lol, which is more than fine by me.

Moved to the "Feedback" forum - that's the best place to ask "how does MR work" questions.

Select "User CP" from the blue bar near the top of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen - it's listed there.

I think you have misunderstood the question Harry. The OP asked if you can tell "how much" karma someone has given you, and as far as I'm aware, you can't. The list you reference only shows who gave you karma, not how much.

My apologies - you're right. Sorry for the misunderstanding. No, there's no way of seeing how much one was given.

Oh, but there is a way. Write down your current points, then regularly obsessively check your User CP until someone gives you karma - subtract old points from new - et voilà.

Not that I would do such a thing...

So the line “... ought to be getting tired of karma fortunes by now” was not only ineffective when I reached it some time ago, but might still be when one is in the forty millions.
