RFC as EPUB?

I have started creating creating EPUB ebooks from the HTML files at https://tools.ietf.org/html/, mainly for personal use.

Although these documents are publicly available I do not know whether they would be appropriate to post here.

Hence I'd like to ask for your opinion before I upload any RFC in EPUB format.

Do you know under which licence these documents are published? If their distribution is not prohibited but permitted then there should be no problem to upload them here.

the TAO says:

IETF standards belong to the community, not to their authors. But authorship is recognized and valued, as are lesser contributions than full authorship.

It looks like these are owned by the community and are not otherwise encumbered by any licensing.

The Internet Society does have a statement on Creative commons license. See http://www.internetsociety.org/get-i...ng-our-content

As far as I understand (I am no native english reader/writer/listener/speaker), it may be distributed as long as the following notice is left is not removed from the text.

So far I changed only some HTML tags that epubcheck deemed not to be appropriate for EPUB.
