Saving Books Cause Memory issues.

G'day All

I have been using calibre without much issue for the last several years and love the app but just lately I update calibre too 0.9.22 for OSX 10.6.8 with no issue , but when I do a backup of my sorted and corrected 7000 books too external drive like I been doing for sometime , only too find now the entire system freeze even when the beachball doesn't have time too show up when saving new selection's of book too a backup (this selection was only 32 books). It goes well till it hits roughly 87–90 % of the selected saved books, then within 20sec it will consume the entire system memory. What can I do to solve this issue, please !!

Find whatever malformed book (probably a pdf) is causing the problem and delete it, or got Preferences->Plugins and disable the pdf metadata writer plugin.
