Is there a smart title compare feature?

I have a large file of old historical books.
I know I have many of them but not all.
Is there a feature in Calibre to have it check that new folder and ID the books it already has (or does not have)?

There is a plugin that can help you find duplicate books. But it is not as smart as you are...
