Name Your Own Price Campaign
CNet is reporting the Indie Fantasy bundle 8 books for download, you pay what you want. They look pretty good. NO DRM! I snagged them, thought they were quite a bargain!

It's good to see a lot of these indie bundles. Books, games, and music. Lots of indie stuff being easier to get into.

Finally got around reading one of the books out of the bundle...
Unfortunately it wasn't clear from the metadata or filename that this is the first in a series; I only realized near the end that there wasn't going to be an end. ![]() It thought the beginning was a bit rough, but it was a really fun read in the middle (when it delivered the fantasy part I was expecting). But at the end without a sequel, the story is a bit frayed. I'll probably wait for the series to be completed before I consider picking it up again... Has anyone read any other books out of this bundle? Which did you like best? |
