Bookstand, light and ziplock bag!

I read the NYTimes in the morning on my Kindle while I'm having breakfast - and found this bookholder that works perfectly. It folds up and slips into the elastic band so I can carry it with me to read at lunch too. With the XtraFlex Super LED Book Light (perfect clipped on the back cover of the Kindle) and the Cradle Base Attachment (which I bought just to get free shipping) I'm ready for anything. Well, except for reading in the hot tub. For that I got the ALOKSAK Dry Bags from Amazon in the 6x9 size.

Here's the light and bookstand - http://www.mightybright.com/index.html - and the bags are here - http://tinyurl.com/3593pe. Enjoy! - sheureka

The 6x9 Aloksak dry bag is too small for the Kindle - though if it were bigger it would be perfect. I just ordered the next size up, one that's 12 x 12, and should have it by Wednesday. I haven't decided if I'm going to return these smaller ones or not. I may keep them around for other things, like my phone, that I worry about ending up in the hot tub.

I volunteer at the gift shop at our museum on Monday mornings and even though this is our "season" sometimes it's really slow, so I take my Kindle and bookholder and read the morning paper while I'm "working." Then I usually go out to lunch. Today there were 3 people from the museum and 2 from my lunch place who had never seen a Kindle before, and were all going to go home to buy one. And the bookholder was what clinched the deal for all of them (since I was eating a very messy meatball sandwich!).
