I have reported my problem of kindle to Amazon support and he promised to give me $20 promo credit. Where can I check to see if he has put it into my Amazon account?

I've received 2 types of credits from Amazon. The first was added to my gift card balance while the second was a credit which was automatically applied when I made a purchase.

Seems that is the case. The customer service told me it will be automatically applied when making a purchase. Thanks.

You must check-out, at the end before submitting your order, you will see the promotional discount listed.

Btw, I contacted customer support chat again. The second person who talked with me was terribly unhelpful and just put me off with one of those 20$ discounts. The first guy gave me one of those already and I have a combined 40$ discount on my account now (it's confirmed).

So, try haggling out some more discount. Worth a try.
