Kobo mini Glo?
Glo was a good idea.
Why not Kobo mini Glo? Is it safe to assume that Kobo will release Kobo mini Glo anytime soon? |

Unlikely. The Kobo Mini is the "bargain priced" model of the Kobo lineup. I can't see there being much of a market for a small, frontlit model as it would jack up the price.
Still, I suppose it depends on how expensive the manufacturing process is for the ComfortLight. It might happen. I just wouldn't expect it anytime soon. |

I think if it were doable at a reasonable preice point, it would already be the mini. I tend to agree that mini is aimed at the bargain segment, so price is everything.

I'd seriously consider upgrading to a Mini-Glo, if the price point remained roughly the same.

Me too! My Mini is in my purse for my commute and at this time of year it's dark when I go to work and dark when I go home. I'd buy a mini-glo for the convenient size + the light even if it cost almost a much as the full size model
