Possible Bug: Strange Margins From Web 2 Kindle on 2011 4 KSO (/W Photo Incl.)

How I get this? Go to this page: http://www.stratfor.com/geopolitical-weekly
Chose a sympathetic or whichever article in Chrome. Ctrl+S (save to desktop), import into Calibre, I use default "old" Mobi as output.

Btw.: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...85&postcount=3 ?

And get this result. It wasn't like this before but it was a very long time ago before so many updates. Thanks.

You get that from margins in the source document. If you dont want the margins use the ignore margins setting under mobi output in the conversion dialog.

Thanks Kovid,

Another quick question: I download this page (http://app.scsend.net/?q=email/view&...g_idno=6112585) from Chrome, convert default, put on Kindle and looks like as if the text is a single picture: the last line of text is cut onto half and I can't turn page to the second page. Can make a screenshot as well if it helps. It does it on another pages as well.

PS. Do you have plans to work closely with the folks at PortableApps.com for your portable version? They offer auto-updates, without installing on the system drive. Pretty cool feature as you update often.

Maybe this idea makes sense: how about enabling a global setting for all formats? Let's say I want to make sure that in all output formats the margins are getting ignored not only in Mobi and to have a global setting to enable just that?

Thanks, keep up the good work, have a great new year!

This is another interesting one, white text on black background design:
http://www.burningtrue.com/2012/12/e...-embodied.html

What is the most painless way to convert it to read on Kindle? I used to copy it into a Word document and changed the colors. Is there a more painless way?
