Kindle Fire not detected by Calibre
Hi! My new Kindle Fire isn't detected by Calibre. It is the only device connected to my computer. My computer does see it, it is listed as "Portable Media" and I can open it and look at files. Here is the debug log:

Calibre does not work with MTP devices on XP. You need Vista or later for MTP support to work with Calibre

I was afraid you were going to say that. I like XP. Do you have any recommendations for the best alternative? I already have my library in Dropbox, I use it to get books onto my iPod Touch.

If I download the .mobi file from Dropbox and then move it to the books folder it shows up in Books. Not pretty, but it works wirelessly.
