Severn House Titles Reduced $2.52-$4.99 Multi Genres [Amazon/Kobo (US)

Amazon

Kobo

Some of the ones that are $4.99 at Amazon are $4.39 at Kobo and allow coupons. (Bargainmoose40 is still working for 40% off.)

Genres include mystery, horror, romance, fantasy, general fiction, historical fiction.

Unknown if this is a sale or price reduction.

Of possible interest to horror fans - some Graham Masterton and Sarah Rayne.

Oh dear, I just spent a lot! Several new authors, a couple familiar authors. Ouch!

But far less than I would have without the Kobo coupon! Thanks, NB...

BTW, among the works on sale, I am quite fond of Rosemary Rowe's series set in Roman Britain. I haven't read these three, which are at the end of the series, because Rowe's books are hard to find in DTB in the US, but I have read several from early in the series and liked them all. I'm quite happy to be able to get these three to read at a reasonable price!

Rowe's protagonist is a freedman/citizen who is a mosaic maker, but never seems to get to much time to make mosaics, because his patron always wants him to be solving mysteries. I like the sense of place and history, and the ones I have read were well-written.

YW and thanks for the recommendation.

I got a bunch of Sarah Rayne, two Peter Guttridge that have been on my wishlist forever, the Gar Anthony Haywood, one Kate Ellis, Patricia McDonald, Ronald Tierney, and the Nick Olham ones mitford mentioned in the other thread - all new authors for me. Gah! These sales are killing me!. LOL. So nice to see these coming down from $9-$10, though.

If you like something with a little action, I'd strongly recommend the two that are on sale from Adrian Magson: Red Station and Tracers. I just discovered these this year through my library and really liked them.

Actually, I'm lucky that my library carries a lot of the Severn House titles - after I put together my original 24-title wishlist yesterday I went back to the library catalog, and now my to-buy list is down to about 6!
I really blew out my budget during the Open Road & Bloomsbury Reader sales...

Thanks for the recommendation and the library tip. I just checked out those Adrian Magson books. I'll look for more of the Severn House books.
