Open Books and fictionwise

As you know fictionwise is shutting down on 4th december. We will try to find alternate sources for the orphaned drm-free ebooks but this will take time. Please bear with us till then. The fictionwise ebooks on the open books site wont be available after december 4th till we find them a new home.

If any of you know where the authors are posting their drm-free ebooks instead of fictionwise please let me know. i found Darrell Bain has them on Double dragon site and Greg bear on deisel so i changed those already. If you know any others please tell me.

Any books I've purchased from Smashwords has been DRM-free, if that's of any use to you. From their FAQ, none of their books contain DRM. Which is why I always look there first before buying a book.

I don't know if you already include this site but it was recently suggested in the GetBooks thread.

Thank sDoctorOhh. I did not know about this particular site. I will add books from it. thanks for the heads up.

But I was wondering if any of you are aware of where particular authors were shifting their DRM-free ebooks from fictionwise to so I can update that information. Like Aaron Elkins, 9 of his books from fictionwise are featured in open books. does anyone know where else to find these books?
