E-book reader with handwriting capabilities

Hi,

I am looking for some device suitable for reading (mainly) physics textbooks. And I would like it to be capable of making handwritten annotations.
I have an old lenovo X60 tablet PC (with Wacom tablet) and I use Xournal to take notes or annotate PDFs. Its output looks almost like writing on paper. That is something I would love to have on my e-book reader.
With such device, I could get rid of about 3 kg of load in my satchel — I wouldn't have to carry the X60 and couple of books.
The first product found by google which seems to satisfy my taste is Onyx Boox M92.

However,
  • it seems a bit expensive to me. Isn't there a cheaper alternative?
  • Are its handwriting and document annotation capabilities comparable to those of the Wacom tablet built into the Tablet PCs?
  • Does it handle DJVu flawlessly?

Thank you for your help. I am a total newbie and I am not sure what to expect at all.

I bought it. I don't like the default scribble application, the output is awful. Also wi-fi de facto does not work. I hope these are just software issues.
