Unhappy Move books from Kindle app to calibre

I asked this question last night, but it was in the old thread, and I guess nobody saw it. How do I tell calibre where to find my ebooks on my Kindle app? I'd like to move some of my books I already have to the calibre library. If I go to the View Device, all I see are the books I have moved from calibre to Kindle, not the other books I have. I know which folder the books are in, and I could move the books to my PC hard drive, but I can't figure out how to know which book it is because Kindle changes the names of the files to some jibberish.
Thanks

Could just drag'n'drop onto calibre window and let calibre tell you the real names... usually works as it can take the details from the books' metadata

Calibre can't manage your purchased Kindle app as those books are protected by DRM while Calibre only supports non-protected books.

Your thread has been moved to the calibre forum.

Please post calibre questions in the calbire forum.

That's why the forum was created.

One day is certainly not enough time to generate a response.
