Kobo Glo not fully ejecting
Kobo Glo, firmware 2.1.5. Calibre 0.9.5. Windows 7, 64 bit.

This is the initial set up of a new device. Everything is working except: When ejecting the device in Calibre it drops off from Calibre but NOT from Windows. I have to manually eject it by right clicking the device in the task bar etc..
I had no problems with my Kobo Touch using firmware 1.1.17 ejecting fully from Calibre and Windows.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

I had reported this to Davidfor this morning in an eMail; I wasn't sure whether it was because of a beta driver he had given me to test, or an issue in calibre.

And as an FYI, I just tried a brand new install of 0.9.5 with everything stock; the eject does not work. With 0.9.4 eject works.

Bug found and fixed. In the words of our mightly Kovid

That was an interesting bug. There was an unsafe conversion of
char->wchar_t that for some reason (probably a change in the memory
layout of 0.9.5, that caused the adjacent memory location to no longer be 0)
never caused problems before.
