Incorrect date on device

Hi,
When I copy books or news from my library to my device, all the dates show up as 1st Jan 1970.
How can I get the correct dates to show?
Also notice it showing zero file size.

If its showing zero file size your device is having problem with either its storage or its MTP stack. Try one of the wireless methods of sending files to your device described here:http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq....d-phone-tablet
