A Souvenir from the War, and Other Stories--new short story collection

Have just put up a short story collection, A Souvenir from the War, and Other Stories, at the Kindle store and Smashwords (from where it will soon find its way to B&N and others). Originally priced it at 2.99, but decided it was just a bit short for that amount so I dropped the price to 1.99. I don't think it had any sales at 2.99, but if you bought it at 2.99, get it refunded and then buy it at the lower price -- a dollar's a dollar these days, and I wouldn't blame you a bit.

"Ray" -- Jimmy visits his grandparents every summer, and every summer he spends some time with their neighbor Ray Spaulding, a fantasy writer living out his last years in the town where he grew up. But this summer, his grandparents will have to tell him of Ray Spaulding's death...

"A Souvenir from the War" -- Phil's father, a veteran of World War II, dies in an explosion in his home, an explosion that might have been caused by a grenade in the footlocker he'd kept since the war. But Phil knows that his father didn't have a grenade...
