Hi there from Maryland
I stumbled upon this forum while looking up possibilities for my new e-reader, the Kindle.

I'm really excited about this e-reader. Up to this point, I had only been aware of the Sony e-reader and the PDA versions. I had looked at the Sony, but was drawn to the Kindle for some reason. PDA's were never an option (I'm farsighted and PDA's would just be too small a screen.)

I've had my Kindle now for 4 days and I love it. I've not had any problems downloading from Amazon and with any of the buttons. I've hooked it up to my Mac and moved text files over to it without trouble. Just plain excited.

Look forward to learning more from all of you.
