Desktop questions
When I have the books displayed in shelf mode, there's a little purple "ribbon" sticking out from the top of most, but not all, of them. What does this indicate?

The only preference I can set is language. Are there any other preferences or options available?

Nope I don't think there are any other preferences... I remember being annoyed by that too, and since then I've never used the Desktop app.
