Why did I get gibberish fonts?
I bought two ebooks a few minutes ago and they are in EPUB format. I downloaded and opened them using Adobe Digital Editions. Next, I launched Calibre (version 0.8.63) and de-drmed them using Alf's tools (version 5.1). When I opened the de-drmed ebooks in Calibre, some of the pages contained gibberish fonts.
However if I opened these de-drmed ebooks in Adobe Digital Editions, I don't have any gibberish fonts in them. Could someone show me how to produce perfectly de-drmed ebooks without gibberish fonts? |

![]() ![]() Discussion of DRM, from what I've read is taboo and not really encouraged because of the legality of it if I'm right? |
