Hello. I am curious about advertising on mobileread. I keep getting ads in the middle of any thread list, but where I work there are several others who are members and they don't get them. Why is this? Is there a Premium, ad free version of membership?

That's curious. There is no premium version of MobileRead, but I seem to remember a thread somewhere that addressed this question. It may be something that disappears as you spend more time at MobileRead. I'll try to find it.

I found the thread, but it seem no one was able to give the OP a definitive answer. Apparently, at a certain point in the early days of your membership, the ads simply vanish, never to return.

Sorry I can't give you a better answer than that, but perhaps someone more knowledgeable will chime in.
